August Favourites 2013

This month has literally been crazy, i've about 3 free days, so apologies for the lack of blog posts this month (fingers crossed i will be back on track come September). I don't have too many favourites because i haven't really had time to be trying out new products, except lip/nail products which obviously i can always make time for, typical Abi. So here we go, my August Favourites...
L'Oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Solution - Finally i managed to find this in stock when i was in london, Boots Kings Road you may be small but you have a fabulous amount of the Skin Perfection Range! British bloggers have been speaking about this a lot for the past couple of months and it's a product that i couldn't wait to get my hands on. Having never tried bioderma i can't say how similar this is, however many people other bloggers who have would agree that they are. I use this to take the majority of my makeup off before i cleanse, and sometimes in the morning to freshen up my skin. It does an amazing job at removing eye/lip make up which is something products similar to this generally struggle to do. This will definitely be a product that i will repurchase, thank god for it's reasonable price tag.

Bourjois Rouge Edition, 10 - After being so impressed by the Color Boost Lip Crayon's, i decided to try some more Bourjois lip products. I've been looking for a perfect orangy red lipstick for a while and i have definitely found it. The formula of these rogue edition lipsticks is very pigmented and creamy and pretty long lasting. They're not too shiny, yet not too matte, so the perfect in between!

Bourjois Shine Edition, 23 - The main reason i picked up this lipstick was because i loved the colour! I was also interested in comparing the formulas to see which one i prefered. As the name would suggest this one has a more of a shine to it, i would also say that it is slightly sheerer than the Rouge Edition, which i do actually really like. Again the formula isn't drying and is extremely lightweight and comfortable on the lips.

Maybelline, Baby Lips, Cherry Me - Baby Lips have been long awaiting in the beauty blogging/youtube community since they were first released in Japan, then the US and finally the UK. Cherry Me was the one shade i really wanted to try, and when i was in the states last year it was the only one i couldn't find! It has a very slight tint to the lips which looks lovely, the taste and smell is also amazing! They are the perfect 'throw in bag lip colour'.

Maybelline Color Show, Power Red  - I believe i mentioned this in my last months favourites, but this has literally been the only colour i have worn as a pedicure this month. It just looks SO good with a tan.

Rimmel Pro, Peppermint - I've had this nail varnish for about two years, if i'm correct i believe they have rebranded this formula as the 'Salon Pro' which seems to have paid of, as everyone seems to be talking about them. This colour is an extremely good dupe for Essie Mint Candy Apple. It's just a perfect mint colour (and again, looks great with a tan) i wore this for most of my holiday!

Bumble and Bumble, Thickening Hairspray - I have been using this all month and have definitely fallen in love, i have done a blog post already dedicated this which you can check out here.

Brandy Melville, head wrap - I hate the way my hair looks up, which is why i brought this as it just makes a ponytail or bun look much more interesting!

Thank you for reading, i hope you have an great September!
